David J. Jett

  David J. Jett, 77, Hornbeck, died Monday, Mar. 15, in the Broyles
Clinic in Leesville.

  Funeral services were held Wednesday, Mar. 17, at 2 p.m., in the Oak
Grove Baptist Church, and burial was in the Oak Grove Cemetery, under
the direction of Hixson Funeral Home.

  He is survived by his widow; five sons, John D. Jett, and Felton C.
Jett, both of Hornbeck, Henry B. Jett, and M. N. Jett of Lake Charles,
and James R. Jett of the U.S. Army; three daughters, Mrs. Gladys Schoel
of San Francisco, Mrs. Irene Canover, and Mrs. Ida White of Hornbeck; 31
grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren.
