Samuel C. Julian

  Samuel C. Julian, 68, of Beaumont, Texas, died on Saturday,
August 23, at 9:45 a.m., in the St. Elizabeth Hospital in
Beaumont, following a lengthy illness.

  Julian, a resident of Beaumont for the past 28 years was a
retired DuPont construction worker.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lurline Julian; two daughters,
Doretha Guertin of Muscatine, Iowa, and Gayle Eldridge of San
Jose, California; two brothers, A. J. Julian of Noble, and John
Julian of Shreveport; and one sister, Opal Jones of Shreveport.

  Funeral services were held on Tuesday, August 26, at 11 a.m.,
with burial following in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in
Beaumont.
