Mrs. Pearl Jones

  Mrs. Pearl Jones, 68, of Provencal, died Monday, May 1, after
a short illness.

  Funeral services were held Friday, May 5, at 2 p.m., in the
Provencal Pentecost Church, with the Rev. B. E. Stanley officiating.
Burial was in the Provencal Cemetery, under the direction of Warren
Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband, Julius R. Jones of Provencal;
one son, Travis N. Nugent; four daughters, Mrs. Jewell F. Byrd of Coco
Beach, Fla., Mrs. Carmel J. Santi, Pasadena, Calif., Mrs. Dale D.
Hillmann of Los Vegas, Nevada, and Mrs. Trois Williams of Pico Rivera,
Calif.; one brother, Willie W. Dale of Provencal, and one sister, Mrs.
Annie Mae Leggett of Natchitoches, and 10 grandchildren.

  The body was taken to the Provencal Pentecost Church Thursday, at
9 a.m., to lie in state until survice time Friday.
