Mrs. Ruby Jones 
  
  Mrs. Ruby Jones, 31, of Florien, died Sunday, Feb. 18, at 12:01 
p.m., in Shreveport, following a short illness. 
  
  Funeral services were held Wednesday, at 2 p.m., at Union 
Baptist Church, with the Rev. Clarence Welch officiating. Burial 
was in Prospect Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows 
Funeral Home. 
  
  She had worked for several years as a waitress at McNeely Coffee 
Shop. 
  
  Survivors include two sons, Harlon and Kevin Lewing of Florien; 
a daughter, Shelia Lewing of Florien; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. 
L. D. Powell of Florien; a brother, Steve Powell of Florien; and 
a sister, Mrs. Ruth Bruce of Shreveport.
