All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Rosa Jones Mrs. Rosa Jones, 72, of Woodville, Tex., died at 5:32 p.m., Sunday, June 15, at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Tex., from injuries received in a two-car accident, one mile north of Spurger, Tex. Funeral services were held at the Fairview Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jim Owens officiating. He was assisted by the Rev. Eldon Jones. Burial was at the Fairview Cemetery, under the direction of the Farmer Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Ronny Scott, Michael Scott, Charles Gene Jones, Robert L. Jones, and Bobby Joe Davis. Honorary pallbearers were Don McDonald, Brad Jones, and Kevin Jones. Mrs. Jones was a native of Florien. She lived in Silsbee for a number of years. She and her husband were caretakers for Camp Walundaha, and had lived in Mont Neches Estates for the last three years. Survivors include her husband, Irving Jones of Woodville, Tex.; four sons, Ruil L. Jones of Vidor, Calvin C. Jones of Humble, Jim M. Jones of San Antonio, and Irving Jones of Conroe; two daughters, Mrs. Robert Scott of Albuquerque, N. M., and Mrs. Robert Davis of Silsbee; four brothers, J. W. Williams of Cooper Center, Alaska, Manuel Williams of Arkansas, Monroe Williams of Woodville, and Curtis Williams of Shreveport; four sisters, Mrs. Cora Polke of Hemphill, Mrs. Mary Speight of Many, Mrs. Pearlee Anthony of Many, and Mrs. Alice Jones of Silsbee; 28 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
