Mrs. Beadie Jones

  Mrs. Beadie Jones, 87, of Leesville, died Wednesday, in a local
nursing home.

  Services were held at 11 a.m., Friday, in Hixson Funeral Home,
with the Rev. Jim Owens, and the Rev. Kirkland Martin
officiating. Burial was in Good Hope Cemetery.

  Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Edna Midkiff of Leesville,
and Mrs. Pearl Raney of Bossier City; three sons, Jessie Jones of
Hornbeck, William E. Jones of Leesville, and Walter Jones of San
Augustine, Tex.; four sisters, Mrs. Annie Merritt of Silsbee,
Tex., Mrs. Omah Adison of Port Arthur, Tex., Mrs. Mammie Brown,
and Mrs. Alpha Chance, both of Hornbeck; 19 grandchildren, 21
great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
