Oma Ouida Jones

  Mrs. Oma Ouida Jones of Hornbeck, died in Bossier City on
Monday, Oct. 23, at 10:30 p.m., following a short illness. She
was 86.

  Survivors include two sons, Sam Paul Jones of Tulsa, Okla., and
Mixon Jones of Hornbeck; two daughters, Mrs. Edna Mitternight of
New Iberia, and Mrs. Laverne Parlee of Bossier City; one step
daughter, Mrs. Forthie Cole of Hornbeck; one step son, Elvin
Jones of Bossier City; 21 grandchildren, and 12 great
grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Oct. 25, at 2 p.m., in
Prewitt's Chapel Baptist Cemetery, under the direction of the
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
