William C. Jones

  Funeral services for Mr. William C. Jones of Many, were held
Saturday, Oct. 1, 1983, at 2 p.m., at Friendship Baptist Church.
Interment was at Friendship Cemetery. Bros. Steve Spears, and
Earl Marr officiated. Arrangements were made under the direction
of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Jones died Thursday, Sept. 29, at North Sabine Nursing Home
in Pleasant Hill. He was 78.

  He is survived by his wife, Florence Jones of Many; one son,
William Calvin Jones Jr. of Shreveport; one brother, Hoy Lee
Jones of Simms, Tex.; four sisters, Eula Robinson, Graford, Tex.,
Dorothy Nettles, Crocket, Tex., Mary Edith Larson, Long Beach,
Calif., Eddie Mae Thielen of Huntsville, Tex.; 7 grandchildren;
17 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
