Mrs. Ruth Lester Jones

  Mrs. Ruth Lester Jones, 77, of Provo, Utah, died Thursday,
February 2, 1984, at her home.

  She was born August 20, 1906, in Shamrock, La., to Thomas
Jefferson Lester, and Marguerite Ella Clark Lester. She married
Frank Alvin Jones in 1929, in Los Angeles. He died March 31,
1975. She was educated in Many, La., and was a lifelong active
member of the LDS Church.

  Survivors include two sons, and three daughters, 29
grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; a brother, Larry Lester of
Arizona; a sister, Catherine Hevesy of Los Angeles, and many
other relatives still living in Louisiana.
