Johnny Earl Jones

  Services for Mr. Johnny Earl Jones, 48, of Houston, were held at
10:30 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 6, at Fellowship Baptist Church in
Converse. The Rev. J. R. Herrin officiated. Burial was at Oak
Grove Cemetery in Converse, under the direction of Drewett
Funeral Home of Mansfield.

  Mr. Jones died Thursday, August 28, 1986, in Houston, after a
brief illness. He was a retired line engineer at Intex
Corporation of Houston.

  He is survived by his father, E. W. Jones of Converse; two
sisters, Mrs. Audrey J. Cupples of Lena; and Mrs. Betty Parks of
Ruston; two nieces; and two nephews.
