Imon Jones

  9 May 1958 - Last rites for Imon Jones, age 62, who died at the
Veterans Hospital in Shreveport, Friday, May 2 was conducted at
Pruitt's Chapel at 10 a.m. Sunday, May 4, with Rev. Robert Graham
officiating. Interment was under the direction of Warren Funeral
Home with military services at the graveside.

  Survivors are wife, Mrs. Imon Jones of Hornbeck, sons, Harold of
Lake Charles, Lambert of Sweetwater, Texas, Henry of Shreveport,
Jesse Ray of Decatur, Ill., Thomas of Fort Polk; daughters, Ms.
Mavis Fitzenreiter of Sulphur, Mrs. Enid Brown, Decatur, Ill.;
brothers, Ivy of Anacoco, Asa of Hornbeck, Berly of El Paso,
Elvin of Shreveport, Verda of Shreveport; sisters, Nona and Ollie
Chance, both of Anacoco, Selma Brown, and Alma McDaniel, both of
Shreveport, Decie Thaxton of Florien and Velma Fuller of
California; 8 grandchildren.

  Members of the American Legion served as pallbearers.
