Alice Ellzey Jones

  Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Ellzey Jones, 58, were held at 2
p.m., Oct. 2, at Plainview Baptist Church.

  Rev. Leroy Chance, Rev. Hoy Leach, and Rev. Glenn Flenniken
officiated.

  Mrs. Jones passed away at her residence in Florien on September
30, 1994.

  Mrs. Jones was born June 16, 1936 in Florien, to Audria Alice
and Johnnie William Ellzey. Mrs. Jones was a member of the
Plainview Baptist Church.

  She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Audra
Ellzey; one sister; and four brothers.

  Survivors are her widower, Mr. Jessie R. (Red) Jones of
Hornbeck; children, Shane Ray Jones of Hornbeck, Sharon Kay Terry
of Hornbeck, Imon W. Jones and wife Onita of Florien, and Lynette
Rose Matthews of Florien; five grandchildren, Heath Jones, Jackie
Jones, Willie Jones, Rachel Terry, Brandon Jones; seven brothers,
William Miriam Ellzey of Milam, Tex., Jefferson Huey Ellzey of
Beaumont, Tex., Victor Lindel Ellzey of Hornbeck; Charleston Ned
Ellzey of Keithville, Teddy R. Ellzey of Hornbeck, Rube Brice
Ellzey of Many, and Carroll Dean Ellzey of Florien; and a host of
nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers were her nephews.
