Mr. Harold Edward Jones

  Mr. Harold Edward Jones, 63, of Many, died Saturday, June 27,
1998, at Willis Knighton Hospital in Shreveport.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, June 29, at Warren
Meadows Funeral Home Chapel, with interment following at
Marthaville Cemetery. The Rev. J. Wayne Morrow, the Rev. Daniel
Lowe, and the Rev. Kyle Clayton officiated.

  Survivors include his widow, Janice Jones of Many; three sons,
Mike Jones of Soso, Miss., and Daniel E. Jones, and Don G. Jones,
both of Many; one stepson, Jody V. Robbins of San Antonio, Texas;
one daughter, Darlene Jones of Soso, Miss.; four sisters, Merle
Fall of Laurel, Miss., Inez Broom, Waycross, Ga., Willie Fay
Smith of Brookhaven, Miss., and Neva Johnson of Eureka, Calif.;
two brothers, Pershing Jones of Carthage, Texas, and Harris Jones
of Hurley, Miss.; and a very special sister-in-law, Marian and
Joy Ammons. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents,
George and Ester Jones; two brothers, Carl Jones, and Stacy
Jones; and one sister, Hazel Taylor.

  Pallbearers were Dennis Holland, Dennis Buckley, Pete Morris,
Brownie Vujaklija, Ronnie Hunter, and Steve Cox. Honorary
pallbearers were Ed Baldridge, John Corley, and Robby Lang.
