Funeral services were held April 29, in the Prospect Methodist Church, with the Rev. Ed Milam, and the Rev. Robbie Barnes officiating. Interment was in the Prospect Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Aubrey Jones of Florien; three sons, Hugh E. (Bo) Jones of Port Arthur, Tex., Glyn C. Jones of Beaumont, Tex., and Ralph C. Jones of Many; two daughters, Mrs. Gretchen Stevens of Beaumont, and Mrs. Joan Pilcher of Shreveport; one brother, Woodrow Jones of Goldonna; two sisters, Mrs. Jessie Rogers of St. Louis, Mo., and Mrs. Doris Johns of Monroe; and seven grandchildren. Pallbearers were Arvil Miller, Tom Cagne, Vernon McLaren, Elmer O'Con, Houston Cook, and B. F. Westbrook. Honorary pallbearers were all employees of Tennessee Gas Transmission Co.
