Mrs. Mae Jones

  Funeral services were conducted Friday, Aug. 11, in the
Friendship Baptist Church, for Mrs. Mae Jones, 59, of Many, who
died Wednesday, Aug. 9, in Many, after a lengthy illness.
Officiating at the services were the Revs. Buddy Greek, and
Austin Behan. Interment was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include her husband, W. C. Jones of Many; a son, W. C.
Jones Jr. of Grand Prairie, Tex.; a daughter, Mrs. Ethel Marie
Ritz of Houston, Tex.; five brothers, R. J. Peters, Louis Peters,
Alvin Peters, and Jeff Peters, all of Shreveport; two sisters,
Mrs. Zephie Micotti, and Mrs. Willie Dean Micotti, both of
Shreveport; her mother, Mrs. Riley Peters of Shreveport; eight
grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Curtis Marr, J. D. Brumley, Riley M. Patton,
Dewayne Farrar, Sonny Farrar, and Eugene Speights.
