Clarence "Pete" Jones

  Clarence "Pete" Jones, 71, died July 17, 2002, at his residence
in Mansfield, after a sudden illness.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., July 10, at Rose-Neath
Chapel in Mansfield, with interment following at Highland
Cemetery. The Rev. Oliver Cagle officiated.

  Survivors include his former wife, Betty Jones Tanner; and their
children, Kathy Parrish and husband Guy of Mansfield, Dale Jones
and wife Sheila of Mansfield, Gerald Jones and wife Rhonda of
Mansfield; brother, Claude Jones of Shreveport; sister, Dorothy
Bray of Zwolle; eight grandchildren; and seven great
grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Johnny Williams, Willie Weir, Blake Manshack,
Chris Jones, Rodney Sanders, and Tim Lindsey. Honorary pallbearer
was Steven Jones.
