William M. Jones

  Funeral services for William M. Jones, 84, who passed away at
his residence in Zwolle Monday, Jan. 5, were held Tuesday at
10:30 a.m., at the Drewett Funeral Home Chapel in Mansfield, with
the Rev. M. L. Boland, pastor of the First Baptist Church of
Zwolle officiating, assisted by the Rev. David Johnson, pastor of
the Vivian Baptist Church.

  Mr. Jones was a retired superintendent of the Long-Bell Lumber
Co.

  He is survived by three sons, Ed Jones Jr. of Zwolle, R. L.
Jones of Vivian, and Jody Jones of Shreveport; two daughters,
Mrs. D. R. Craig of Vivian, and Mrs. H. L. Tompkins of
Shreveport; a sister, Mrs. Susie Farmer of Bossier City; 14
grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and one great-great
grandchild.

  Pallbearers were Leon Jones, and Charles Roy Jones of
Shreveport, Bobby Lynn Jones of Baton Rouge, Calvin Jones, Wm. M.
Palmer III, and W. F. Jeter Jr., all of Zwolle.

  Interment was in the Highland Cemetery in Mansfield, under the
direction of the Drewett Funeral Home.
