Funeral services were held Friday, May 14, at 1:30 p.m., in the Christ Memorial Episcopal Church, with the Rev. Paul Biggers officiating. Burial was in the Mansfield Cemetery. Mr. Jenkins was a member of the Rotary Club, a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of the Silver Beaver Boy Scout organization. He had been a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity for 50 years. He was a lieutenant in World War II. He was also the Red Cross representative of DeSoto Parish in World War II. Survivors are his wife; two sons, Milton E. Jenkins of Albuquerque, N. M., and Ned Walter Jenkins Jr. of Converse; five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
