Funeral services were held in the Robeline Pentecostal Church, with the Rev. Hennigan, and the Rev. Outlaw officiating. Services were held Saturday, June 10, at 10 a.m., with Military graveside Rites. Burial was in the Shamrock Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. He is survived by five sons, D. L. Jenkins of Hahnville, La., Jimmy R. Jenkins, Kirbyville, Jack Jenkins, Shreveport, Andrew Jenkins of Marthaville, and Albert Jenkins of San Antonio; five daughters, Mrs. Dora Hope of Marthaville, Judy Jenkins of Bossier City, Mrs. Carolyn Schlegal of Jacksonville, N. C., Sandrea Jenkins, and Bobie Jenkins, both of Marthaville, and seven grandchildren. Also one half brother, Richard Haynes of Robeline; three brothers, Harrison Jenkins, Robeline, Hiram Jenkins of Many, and Robert Lee Jenkins of Orange, Tex.; two half sisters, Mrs. Clara Shoemaker, and Mrs. Augusta Webb of Robeline; two sisters, Mrs. Adline Daughtary of Bonwier, Tex., and Mrs. Mary Jordan of Robeline. Pallbearers were Velton R. Jordan, Kenneth Smith, George Whitmer, Bill Beavers, Beamer Snider, and Don Jordan.
