The Sabine Index - William James Johnson 
  
  18 Jun 1948 - William James Johnson, age 77 passed away at his 
home in Mt. Freedom community Friday afternoon. Funeral services 
wee conducted from Mt. Freedom Baptist church 2 p.m. Saturday by 
Rev. Frank Laurence of Oakdale, followed with interment under 
direction of Massingill funeral home. 
  
  Mr. Johnson is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Lee Rivers of Mt. 
Freedom; two sons, C. H. Johnson, Shreveport, and J. D. Johnson, 
Many; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
