Mrs. Odeal Gandy Jenkins 
  
  Funeral services for Mrs. Odeal Gandy Jenkins, 83, of Many were 
held at Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church on Sunday, April 9 at 2 p.m. 
The Rev. Michael Henderson, chmch pastor, officiated. Burial 
followed in the Oak Hill Baptist Church Cemetery under the 
direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Many. Pallbearers were 
Tracey Jones, Robert Titus, Chad Miller, Ben Speights, Caroll 
Salley and Dub Gentry. 
  
  Mrs. Jenkins, a life long resident of Many, died at IHS-North 
Nursing Center on April 8 following a brief illness. 
  
  She was retired from Phares and Lites Insurance Co., where she 
was employed as a secretary. 
  
  Mrs. Jenkins is survived by one daughter. Dale Jones and 
husband, Ralph of Many; two sisters, Vonciel Kickel of Baton 
Rouge and Cokine Marek arid husband, Prank of Lake Charles; two 
grandchildren, Caria Jones of Many and Tracey Jones and wife, 
Sherry, of Many; two great grandchildren, Danya Titus and 
husband, Robert and Madison Jones, all of Many; and two 
step-great grandchildren, Emily and Michael Geoghagan, both of 
Many. 
  
  She was preceded in death by her husband, Fermer Jenkins of Many 
and one brother, Samuel Vince Gandy Jr. 
  
  Rose-Neath Funeral Home Many, La.
