Mrs. Mavis Jenkins

  Mrs. Mavis Jenkins, 54, of Robeline, died in Shreveport Sunday,
April 4, at 1:35 p.m., after an extended illness.

  Mrs. Jenkins is survived by three sons, Tommie Jenkins of
Shreveport, and Curtis, and Elton Jenkins of Houston, Tex.; one
daughter, Mrs. Martha Jo Faust of Robeline; one brother, Gary
Stewart of Houston; three sisters, Mrs. Edith McDaniel of
Robeline, Mrs. Eddie Lou Stewart of Hornbeck, and Mrs. Doris
Chance of Houston, and six grandchildren.

  Her body was taken to her residence near Robeline to lie in
state until service time Tuesday.

  Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 6, at 10 a.m., in the
Robeline First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Thurman Williams
officiating. Interment was in the Rocky Mount Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.
