All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Maggie Jamison Mrs. Maggie Jamison, 91, of Pleasant Hill, died Saturday, July 3, at 7:30 a.m., in Pleasant Hill Hospital, after a brief illness. A native of Tupelo, Miss., she had lived in Pleasant Hill for 90 years. Mrs. Jamison was a lifetime member of the Order of the Eastern Star. The funeral was held Monday, July 5, at 3 p.m., at Pleasant Hill Methodist Church, with the Rev. Ed Dillingsworth, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Wellman's Funeral Home of Shreveport. Mrs. Jamison's survivors include a son, Bill Jamison of Pleasant Hill; three daughters, Mrs. Mildred Lee, and Mrs. Mattie Lee Anstead, both of Shreveport, and Mrs. Jewell Milner of Pleasant Hill; 12 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Robert Stockton, Harold Stockton, Doyle Stockton, Orian Lee, Mike Shuflin, and Bob Milner.
