The Sabine Index - Lawrence Johnson

  6 Nov 1942 - Funeral rites for Lawrence Johnson, age 18 years,
who was killed in a truck accident Wednesday at Marshall, Texas,
will be held today at 3:30 p.m. from the home of Mr. and Mrs. J.
C. Johnson, his foster parents, Rev. Pratt McCloud of Leesville
officiated. Interment will be in the Fenders cemetery under the
direction of Dennis-Green funeral home.

  Surviving are his foster parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Johnson, of
Many; one brother, Bill Moorhead; four sisters, Mattie Lou and
Pauline Moorhead, Mrs. Fay Moffett, all of Marshall, Texas and
Mrs. Lottie Manasco of Many.
