Mr. Oree Johniken

  Services for Mr. Oree Johniken, 76, of Robeline, were held at 2
p.m., Monday, November 28, at the Drewett Memorial Chapel. The
Rev. Glen Marr, the Rev. Thurman Williams, and the Rev. P. S.
Hightower officiated. Burial was in Marthaville Cemetery.

  Mr. Johniken died at 6:45 a.m., Saturday, November 26, 1983, in
the Sabine Medical Center in Many, La., after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Johniken was a native of Pelican, La., and had resided in
Robeline since 1972.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Willa B. Johniken of Robeline;
two sons, Billy O. Johniken of Shreveport, and Rickey L. Johniken
of Ferriday, La.; two daughters, Wanda C. Sheridan of Shreveport,
and Peggy Janene Luttinger of Winter Park, Fla.; two brothers, R.
H. Johniken of Logansport, La., and N. C. Johniken of
Natchitoches; four sisters, Iola Duke of Logansport, Frances
Raborn of Pelican, Oma Gamble of Grand Cane, and Joyce Eason of
Mansfield; nine grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
