The Rev. Glen Marr, the Rev. Thurman Williams, and the Rev. P. S. Hightower officiated. Burial was in Marthaville Cemetery. Mr. Johniken died at 6:45 a.m., Saturday, November 26, 1983, in the Sabine Medical Center in Many, La., after a lengthy illness. Mr. Johniken was a native of Pelican, La., and had resided in Robeline since 1972. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Willa B. Johniken of Robeline; two sons, Billy O. Johniken of Shreveport, and Rickey L. Johniken of Ferriday, La.; two daughters, Wanda C. Sheridan of Shreveport, and Peggy Janene Luttinger of Winter Park, Fla.; two brothers, R. H. Johniken of Logansport, La., and N. C. Johniken of Natchitoches; four sisters, Iola Duke of Logansport, Frances Raborn of Pelican, Oma Gamble of Grand Cane, and Joyce Eason of Mansfield; nine grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
