Jamison, 67, of Shreveport, were held at 11 a.m., Friday, November 30, at the Wellman Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. William Campbell, pastor of Midway Baptist Church in Converse, La., officiated. Burial was in Many Cemetery in Many, La. Mr. Jamison, a retired bus operator for Continental Trailways, died Wednesday, November 28, 1984, at the Veterans Administration Hospital, after a long illness. He was born in Evansville, Indiana, and had been a resident of Shreveport since 1949. Mr. Jamison was a veteran of World War II. He was of Baptist affiliation. Mr. Jamison was preceded in death by a son, Larry Wedley Jamison. He is survived by his wife, Gladys Stanfield Jamison of Shreveport; one brother, Luther A. Jamison, and one sister, Edith Jamison Miles of Evansville, Ind.; a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Curtis Stanfield, Randy Stanfield, Kernie Stanfield, Neal Stanfield, Chuck Stanfield, and Larry Banks.
