The Rev. Adrian Patre, and the Rev. Vernon Stephenson officiated. Burial was at Pu-nake Cemetery at Pleasant Hill. Plans are under the direction of Drewett Funeral Home in Mansfield, La. Mrs. Johnson died Sunday, Jan. 20, 1985, in Pleasant Hill, after a lengthy illness. She had been a resident of the Pleasant Hill community for 35 years, and was a retired school teacher. She is survived by her husband, Mr. Robert Glynn Johnson of Pleasant Hill; one son, Glynn Stewart Johnson of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Gwynn Marie Ligon of Houston, and Mrs. Jane Johnson Taylor of Pleasant Hill; five grandchildren; two brothers, Mrs. W. R. Dunklin of Port Arthur, Texas, and Mrs. Billy Dunklin of Gonzales, La. Family requests, in lieu of flowers, that memorials be made to the Baptist Children's Home in Monroe, La., and the Masonic Children's Home in Alexandria, La.
