Mrs. Christine Jenkins

  Mrs. Christine Jenkins, 64, of Holly Grove Community, died in
Robeline, on Thursday, June 19, 1986, at 11:30 a.m.

  Funeral services were held at Cedar Grove Baptist Church, on
June 21, 1986, at 10 a.m., with Rev. Ray Dyess, and Rev. Percy
Tibbitts officiating. Burial was in Cedar Grove Cemetery, under
the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  She is survived by her husband, Herman W. Jenkins of Holly Grove
Community; one son, Robert E. Barling Sr. of Shreveport; three
daughters, Sophia Byles of Natchitoches, Lynell Cooper of
Shelbyville, Tex., and Francis Norman of Castor; two brothers,
Chester Gillespie of Lake Charles, and Richard Gillespie of
Negreet; one sister, Mrs. Geraldine Nettles of Shreveport; 17
grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
