Officiating was Rev. Vernon Stephenson, and Rev. Stephen Pyle. Burial followed in the Spring Ridge Cemetery, under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield. Mr. Jamison passed away Thursday, December 14, at Schumpert Medical Center in Shreveport, following a lengthy illness. He was born in Red Bay, Alabama, and was a lifelong resident of Pleasant Hill. Mr. Jamison was retired from the Sabine Parish School System, and he was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pleasant Hill. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eva Jamison of Pleasant Hill; two daughters and sons-in-law, Theresa and Druce Chapman of Mansfield, and Barbara J. and Danny Dobson of Grapevine, Texas; two grandchildren, Sheila Ricks, and Ramona Brown; four great grandchildren, Cody, and Casey Ricks, and Roman, and Ramsey Brown; several nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Pleasant Hill.
