Officiating was the Rev. Billy Burkett, assisted by the Rev. Lee Deason. Burial was in the Beulah Methodist Church Cemetery near Marthaville. Mrs. Johnson died Thursday, November 9, at her residence. She was a lifelong resident of Coushatta, a Baptist, and a member of the Eastern Star Harmony Chapter #6. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sanders Brown, and Nellie Warren; two children, Gail, and Ricky; one brother, Odie Howard; one sister, Louise Webb. She is survived by nine children; six sons and daughters-in-law, Andy and Nancy Johnson Jr. of New Orleans, Luther and Jean Johnson of Broussard, Michael and Susie Johnson of Campti, Doyl and Terrie Johnson of Buras, Gary and Brenda Johnson of Ashland, and Clay and Carla Johnson of Monroe; three daughters, Linda Johnson Davis of Coushatta, Janey Johnson Bozeman and her husband Truly of Pleasant Hill, Paula Johnson Jeans and her husband Johnny of Coushatta; two sisters, Addie Cooper of Vidalia, and Annie Mae Webb of Coushatta; one sister-in-law, Alfury Howard of Coushatta; two brothers-in-law, Burnell Webb, and Vernon Webb, both of Coushatta; 24 grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
