Mrs. Ina Pearl Cole Johnson

  Services for Mrs. Ina Pearl Cole Johnson, 88, were held at 2:30
p.m., Thursday, September 6, in the First Baptist Church of
Pleasant Hill. Officiating was Rev. Charles Duncan, and the Rev.
Vernon Stephenson. Burial was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery,
under the direction of Rose-Neath's Mansfield Chapel.

  Mrs. Johnson died Wednesday, September 5, in the North Sabine
Nursing Center, following a lengthy illness. She was born in
Mississippi, and had lived in Pleasant Hill most of her life. She
was a homemaker, and a member of the First Baptist Church in
Pleasant Hill.

  Survivors include her husband of 67 years, A. D. Johnson Sr. of
Pleasant Hill; two sons, W. Salter Johnson of Benton, and A. D.
Johnson Jr. of Pleasant Hill; one sister, Mrs. H. J. Johnson of
Shreveport; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a
number of nieces and nephews.
