  Mrs. Betty Elizabeth Johnson, 69, died Tuesday, May 8, 2001, at
her residence in Many.

  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Thursday, May 10, at
Beulah Baptist Church, with interment following at Beulah
Cemetery. The Rev. Kenneth Leach Sr., the Rev. Daniel Davis, and
the Rev. Jim Townsend officiated.

  Survivors include her husband, Willard Johnson of Many; five
daughters, Sharon Elizabeth Moore, and Paula Gail Johnson, both
of Longview, Texas, Jossie Lynn Fowler, and Carolyn Willeen
Peterson, both of Many, and Kimberly Kay Davis of Longview,
Texas; one brother, Bobbie Blackman of Byers, Texas; three
sisters, Ester Thompson of Farmington, N. M., Margie Bishop pf
Breckenridge, Texas, and Mary Donnell of Norman, Okla.; 14
grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a host of nieces,
nephews, and friends.
