John V. (Tiny) Johnson

  Services for Mr. John V. (Tiny) Johnson, 54, were held at 10
a.m., Monday, February 10, 1992, at St. Augustine Catholic
Church. Burial was in the St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery in
Basile. Rosary was at 7 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.

  Mr. Johnson died at 7:40 a.m., February 7, 1992, at her
residence in Basile. He was a retired Clerk-Auto Parts.

  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Leola Lafleur Johnson of
Basile; three sons, Samuel James Johnson of Basile, Owen Patrick
Johnson of Elton, Malcolm Louisi Johnson of Basile; one daughter,
Michael (Kimberly) Veronie of Tepetate; four brothers, Mr. J. C.
Johnson of Roanoke, Mr. C. B. Johnson of Kinder, Mr. Joseph
Johnson of Kinder, Mr. J. B. Johnson of Oberlin; five sisters,
George (Laura) Thaggard of Union, Ida Overcash of Philadelphia,
Clifton (Mildred) Simon of Jennings, Mercas (Edith) Fontenot of
Durable, Haxie Duplechin of Lafayette; six great grandchildren.
