  Mrs. Myrtie Mae McCullough Johnson

  Services for Mrs. Myrtie Mac McCullough Johnson, 90, of
Shreveport, were held at 10 a.m. August 10, 1988 at Springridge
Baptist Church in Pleasant Hill, La. The Rev. Charles Duncan,
pastor of the church, officiated. Burial was at Springridge
Cemetery.

  Family received visitors at 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 9 at
Rose-Neath's Marshall Street Chapel.

  Mrs. Johnson died Monday, August 8, 1988 at Rose View Nursing
Home after a lengthy illness. She was born in Tupelo, Miss. Mrs.
Johnson was the retired owner of a rooming house. She was
Baptist.

  Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death, by a daughter, Elaine
Johnson Pruitt and a son, Douglas W. Johnson.

  She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Mrs. D. W. (Thyra)
Johnson; a son-in-law, Ed Pruitt; three grandchildren, Lionel
Buck Johnson, Linda Hall Hammond and Sheila Johnson Terrell; and
five great grandchildren, Yvette Johnson, Faithe Johnson, Charles
Hammond III, Jeffery Gaddis and Shawn Terrell.

  Memorials may be made to the Springridge Baptist Church in
Pleasant Hill, La.
