Ressie Maxie Johnson

  Funeral services for Mrs. Ressie Maxie Johnson, were held
Saturday, November 6, 1993, at the Wayside Temple Church of God
in Christ in Many, La. Interment followed at New Jerusalem
Cemetery, under the direction of Winnfield Funeral Home. Rev.
Elder William Alexander officiated.

  Mrs. Johnson died Sunday, October 31, at Willis Knighton Medical
Center South, in Shreveport, La., at the age of 88.

  She is survived by her three children, Leros Johnson, Annie Ruth
Williams, both of Florien, and Beatrice Weaver of Bakersfield,
Calif.; twenty six grandchildren; seventy great grandchildren;
two great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews,
relatives, and friends.
