Officiating was Rev. C. W. Hagan, and Rev. Eldridge Anesalmie. Interment was at Shiloh Cemetery. Katharine Johnson died Sunday, August 14, 1994, at LSU Medical Center in Shreveport. She was born to Albert and Vircy Webb Leggett on October 30, 1944, in Sabine Parish. She is survived by one daughter, Natalie Lynette Fugler of Waskom, Tex.; three sisters, Letha Bearden of Fisher, Ann Coffey of Converse, and Betty Louise McComic of Many; five brothers, Bill Leggett of Mineral Wells, Tex., Samuel Maurice Leggett of Denham Springs, Tex., Jimmy Leggett of Brownwood, Tex., and A. J. Leggett, and Joe Leggett of Converse; two grandchildren, Kayla Fugler, and Kellie Fugler; special friend, Paul Stewart; and a host of friends. Pallbearers were Larry Reshard, Mike McComic, Tony McComic, Larry Landers, James Remedies, Jerry Leggett, Rusty Nelson, and Jerry Whittington. Honorary pallbearer was Stevie Hunter.
