Rev. Mack Brister Sr. officiated. Interment was in Florien Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by a son, Richard Hill. Mr. Johnson married Zelma Underwood on August 9, 1963, in Orange, Tex., and served in the United States Army. He was also a retired welder. Survivors include his widow, Zelma Johnson of Florien; two sons, Hollis Hill of Longview, and Chris Johnson of Florien; six daughters, Reba Sue Maxwell, and Reatha Nasrawi, both of Dallas, Shirley Goodwin, and Mary Griffin, both of Orange, Tex., Vickie Dean of Vidor, Tex., and Ann Dzuik of Wimberly, Tex.; five sisters, Ruby Vick of Vivian, Elsie Denson of Bossier City, Nellie Lundy of Waskom, Tex., Berline Hill of Atlanta, and Martha Jean Sermon of Alvin; three brothers, Robert Johnson of Doddridge, Ark., Billy Johnson of Texarkana, Tex., and John Johnson of Texas; seventeen grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
