Interment followed at the Cedar Grove Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Rev. Travis McCullough, and Rev. Don Nunley officiated. Mrs. Jenkins passed away on April 4, 1995, at the Sabine Medical Center in Many. She was a member of the Cedar Grove Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Betty Mae Powell of Marthaville; three sons, Herman Jenkins, Bobby Ray Jenkins, and Michael Jenkins, all of Robeline; five sisters, Gladys Terrell, Mildred Ammons, and Clarice Haritos, all of Leesville, Beatrice Ammons of Shreveport, and Ellen Hosteteler of Channelview, Texas; two brothers, Norris Ammons of Natchitoches, and Eugene Ammons of Lake Charles; 16 grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews. Lucille Jenkins was born on January 18, 1913, to Liller Johnson and Wiley Ammons in Robeline, La.
