Jamison, 70, died Saturday, Jan. 2, at Sabine Medical Center in Many. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Monday, Jan. 4, at Pleasant Hill First Baptist Church, with interment following at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Joe Thibeau, and the Rev. Butch Johnson officiated. Survivors include his widow, Kay Jamison of Many; three sons, Johnnie Jamison and wife Leavonne of Brandon, Miss., Danny Jamison and wife Sandra of Mansfield, and Phillip Jamison and wife Deleigh of Many; seven grandchildren, Corey, Heather, and Meghan Jamison, all of Brandon, Miss., and Tiffany Walker, Rena Alford, Devin, and Layton Jamison, all of Many; one sister, Dorothy Lonidier of Bossier City; two uncles, Otha Woods and wife Margie of Pleasant Hill, and Arthur Ebey and wife Helen of Baton Rouge; one brother-in-law, Henry J. Mulkey of Baton Rouge; sister-in-law, Alice Boyd of Baton Rouge; five step grandchildren, Todd, Raydra, Amber Morgan, and Dane; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Pallbearers were Corey Jamison, Guffy Pattison, Gere Gregory, Roy Bridges, Sonny Hardee, Jon Simpson, Doyle Stockton, Harold Dillard, Kenneth Barnes, Melton Free, Kent Lee, and Lee Jones.
