Mrs. Betty Johnson

  Mrs. Betty Lois Johnson, 68, of Pleasant Hill, died suddenly,
May 4, at her residence in Pleasant Hill.

  Funeral services were at 4:30 p.m., May 5, in the First Baptist
Church in Pleasant Hill, with the Rev. Oliver Roberts
officiating, assisted by the Rev. Cecil Salley. Burial was in the
Spring Ridge Cemetery, under the direction of Drewett Funeral
Home of Mansfield.

  Survivors are her husband, Robert Melvin Johnson; four sons,
Robert Glen Johnson of Pleasant Hill, David Lloyd Johnson of
Hardin, Tex., Prentice Vann Johnson, and Benton Johnson, both of
Pleasant Hill; three daughters, Mrs. Evon J. Roberts of Ferriday,
Mrs. Exon J. Roberts of Ferriday, Mrs. Emily Ann Dillard of
Mansfield, and Mrs. Linda J. Harris of Pleasant Hill; 18
grandchildren; one brother, George R., Middleton of Pleasant
Hill.
