Robert Lester Johnson

  Robert Lester Johnson, 58, of Robeline, died Thursday, Aug. 3,
in Shreveport, after a short illness.

  Funeral services were conducted Friday, Aug. 4, in the Cedar
Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. Travis McCullough, Rev. E. C.
Burley, and Rev. Percy Tibbitts officiating. Burial was in the
Cedar Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.

  Survivors include a brother, C. J. Johnson of Natchitoches;
three sisters, Mrs. Ida Bell Jenkins of Robeline, Mrs. Annie
Jordan of Robeline, and Mrs. Ona Duren of Natchitoches.

  Remains were taken to the home of Mrs. Annie Jordan to lie in
state until service time Friday.
