Funeral services were conducted Jan. 30, at Trinity Baptist Church, with the Rev. Brent Fleming, the Rev. H. H. Tibbitts, and the Rev. Bill White officiating. Burial was in the Many Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Survivors include five sons, J. D. Johnson Jr. of Baytown, Tex., Willard H. Johnson of Baton Rouge, Luther G. Johnson of Fort Lee, Virginia, Bobby R. Johnson of Shreveport, and Frank D. Johnson of Many; three daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Woods of Many, Mrs. Louis Johnson of Cloute, Tex., and Mrs. Juanita Pine of Chincoteague, Va.; four sisters, Mrs. H. J. Miller, and Mrs. S. L. Robinson of Many, Mrs. M. G. Lucas of Addis, and Mrs. H. T. Tacilet of Carterville, Mo.; 12 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Pallbearers were John Henry Brown, Charles Lucas, Bill Jones, Johnny Mowad, John Varnado, and Garth Wright.
