Mattie B. Jennings

  Mrs. Mattie Barton Jennings, 76, of Marthaville, died Thursday,
Feb. 19, at her residence.

  Funeral services were at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 20, in the
Jennings Chapel Congregational Methodist Church in Marthaville,
with Rev. Bill Harty, and Dr. Otha Jennings officiating. Burial
was in Bethany Cemetery, under the direction of Drewett Funeral
Home of Mansfield.

  Survivors include her husband, Luther Jennings of Marthaville;
three daughters, Mrs. Maxine Birdwell, Marthaville, Mrs. Dorothy
Rachal, Natchitoches, and Mrs. Maurice Wilkens, Shreveport; two
sons, Hilton Jennings, Shreveport, and Phillip Jennings, Atlanta,
Georgia; one brother, Earl Barton, Pleasant Hill; three sisters,
Mrs. Bertie Williamson, Cushing, Tex., Mrs. Ruth Salley, Pleasant
Hill, and Mrs. Margaret Johnson, Pelican; nine grandchildren; and
five great grandchildren.
