Jennings, 77, of Marthaville, were held at 11 a.m., Monday, January 30, in the Jennings Chapel Congregational Methodist Church near Marthaville. Officiating was Ronnie Newton. Burial followed in the Bethany Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Drewett Funeral Home in Mansfield, La. Mr. Jennings, a native and lifelong resident of Marthaville, died Friday, January 27, 1984, in the Pleasant Hill Hospital, following a lengthy illness. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lou Annie Jennings of Marthaville; three sons, Hulon D. Jennings of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Shirral D. Jennings of Wuzburg, Germany, and Roger D. Jennings of Eunice, La.; three daughters, Mrs. Marline Ragsdale of Salis, Miss. Mrs. Mozell J. Liddle of Shreveport, and Mrs. Ivadell Fenton of Marthaville; one brother, Cameron Jennings of Marshall, Texas; three sisters, Clarise J. McBride of Marthaville, Mrs. Clarae Ingram of Pleasant Hill, La., and Mrs. Alice Bruce of Natchitoches, La.; fifteen grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
