L. Roy Jennings

  Funeral services for L. Roy Jennings, were held at 10:30 a.m.,
Wednesday, in East Winnfield Baptist Church, with the Revs. Doyle
Wesson, and Jimmy Yocum officiating. Burial followed in Beulah
Cemetery, Marthaville.

  Jennings, 76, of Joyce, died at 3 p.m., Monday, in Humana
Hospital, Winnfield. He was a native of Marthaville.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mattie Jennings of Joyce; one
son, Bobby Jennings of Goldonna; two sisters, Mrs. Sybil Allen of
Baton Rouge, and Mrs. Inez Wells of Pleasant Hill; three
grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
