William (Bill) Bonny Jimerson

  Bill Jimerson, 75, of Pleasant Hill, died on Tuesday, March 24,
at 4:15 a.m., in the Pleasant Hill General Hospital, following a
short illness.

  He was born on March 3, 1906.

  Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, March 25,
in the Spring Ridge Baptist Church, with the Rev. Adrian Pater,
and the Rev. J. P. King officiating. Burial was in the Spring
Ridge Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral
Home.

  Mr. Jimerson is survived by his widow, Mrs. Myrtis Jimerson of
Pleasant Hill; three sons, Willie Cobbs, and Charles Cobbs, both
of Pleasant Hill, and Doug Cobbs of Shreveport; a daughter, Loyce
Campbell of Pleasant Hill; three sisters, Mildred Lee, and Mattie
Gray, both of Shreveport, and Jewel Milner of Mansfield; 14
grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were his grandsons, Danny Ray Cobbs, Steve Campbell,
and Doyle Stockton, all of Pleasant Hill, Jerry Don Campbell of
Many, Donnie Barnard of Coushatta, Gilbert Brian, and John
Bullard, both of Belmont, and William Campbell II of Baton Rouge.

  Mr. Jimerson's widow is presently a patient in the Pleasant Hill
General Hospital. Your prayers for her will be gratefully
appreciated by the family.
