Jordan, prominent citizen of Florien Route One, passed away at the local sanitarium last Friday at 7:45 p.m., after a brief illness. Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Baptist church with interment in the Mt. Carmel cemetery, Rev. O. S. Roberts officiating. Mr. Jordan served as school board member from Ward One, was a member of the Baptist church, also Kisatchie Lodge F & A.M. at Mt. Carmel Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Jordan, two sons, J. O. and J. T. Jordan, both of Shreveport; and one daughter, Mrs. E. C. Box, of Coushatta; one brothers, J. E. Jordan, of Florien, Route One, one sister, Mrs. J. H. Hill, of Pitkin and two grandchildren.
