The Sabine Index - Porter M. Jordan

  3 Jan 1958 - Funeral services for Porter M. Jordan, age 36, who
died at Shreveport, Tuesday, Dec. 24, was conducted at Fort Jesup
Baptist church at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 26 with Rev. H. H.
Tibbitts and Rev. Herny Chance officiating. Interment was in
church cemetery under the direction of Warren Funeral home.

  Survivors are his wife, Mrs. P. M. Jordan of Shreveport,
mother, Mrs. Annie Fletcher of Many; sons, Porter, Jr., of
Shreveport, brothers, D. L. Fletcher of Alexandria and George
Fletcher of Leesville; sisters, Mrs. Georgia Mae Eason of Many,
Mrs. Charline Puick of Austin, Texas; Mrs. Billie Cord of
California and Mrs. Shirley Williams of Hornbeck.

  Pallbearers were Kenneth Colston, Bob Clayton, Howard Colston,
W. H. Eason, Robert Edd Williams, and Charlie Crenshaw.
