William Jordan

  William Jordan, 103, died Saturday, Feb. 16, at his residence,
following a long illness.

  Funeral services were at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, in the Hickory
Grove Church, with the Rev. Foster Jennings officiating. Burial
was in the Shamrock Cemetery, under the direction of
Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home.

  Survivors include two sons, Wesley Jordan, and Jessie Jordan,
both of Shreveport; five daughters, Mrs. Elvenia Moore of
Robeline, Mrs. Bertha Waters of Provencal, Mrs. Ruth Moore, and
Mrs. Lena Ezernack, both of Shreveport, and Mrs. Pearl Brewster
of Winnfield; 33 grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren
and great-great grandchildren.
