The Sabine Index - George E. Jordan

  4 May 1951 - Funeral rites for George E. Jordan, 72, who was
called by sudden death at his home near Florien Sunday, were
conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Antioch Baptist church by Rev.
Glen Marr, assisted by Rev. L. B. Ritchie. Interment was under
the direction of warren funeral home with Masonic rites at the
graveside by members of the Florien lodge.

  Surviving relatives include: the widow, Mrs. Annie Jordan,
Florien; sons, Roy, Jeff, and Leon Jordan of Florien, Charlie
Jordan, Leesville, Walter G. Jordan, Glenmora; daughters, Mrs.
Ernest Salter, Many, Mrs. Annie Mae Calsbeck, Orange City, Iowa;
sisters, Mrs. Sallie Riddick, Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Mae
Bradley, Reno, Nev., Mrs. Myrtle Teitz, and 15 grandchildren.
